Sie hat einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Geschichte von der Bundesuniversität von Santa Catarina, einen Master-Abschluss in Produktionstechnik von derselben Universität und einen Doktortitel in Sozialgeschichte von der Universität von São Paulo. Derzeit ist sie Dozentin an der Metropolitan University of Santos/UNIMES und forscht als Postdoktorandin am Lehrstuhl Jaime Cortesão/FFLCH/USP.
