In this book, the author traces the evolution of the education system in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) over a 64-year period, from independence in 1960 to the year 2024. It examines the educational policies implemented by the many successive regimes, the reforms undertaken and the challenges encountered. The book also analyzes the future prospects for education in the DRC and proposes recommendations for improving the quality of teaching and access to education for all.
