One of the main aims enshrined in the RTE Act is to empower teachers as key change agents in school and to ensure competence building of teachers as professionals to be able to reflect on and improve their practices. Teachers occupy a significant place in the process of teaching and learning; they should be educated well for the job and updated as well according to the needs of society, nation and the world.
