Autorenporträt
Shahid Siddiqui has a PhD in Language Education from the University of Toronto, Canada. He has worked at Aga Khan University, GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Lahore University of Management Sciences, and National University of Modern Languages, and served as the Vice Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad (2014-18). He is currently working as Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Media Studies, Art and Design, Lahore School of Economics. His published books include Rethinking Education in Pakistan: Perception, Practices, and Possibilities (2007), Education, Inequalities, and Freedom: A Sociopolitical Critique (2010), Language, Gender, and Power: The Politics of Representation and Hegemony in South Asia (2014), and Education Policies in Pakistan: Politics, Projections, and Practices (2016).
