Generally we cannot find such detailed picturesque descriptions of Malo community in any recent research, however, there's one book called 'Malo Jatir Sanskriti' by Sri Tapan Kumar Biswas and Sri Nani Gopal Malo. Apart from this, there are a few works specially story of Novel related with the Malo community. For example we can site 'Titas ekti nodir nam' by Adwaitya Malla Barman. In 'Padma nodir majhi' by Manik Bandyopaddhaya there's a lot of fishermen's life not specifically of Malo community though. Samaresh Ganguly of course told us the story of the struggle of Malos in his 'Ganga'.
