The purpose of this book is to equip learners with knowledge and skills of assessment and evaluation. The book explores the importance and use of evaluation to all education stakeholders. Most importantly, evaluation helps to determine to what extent the broad objectives of a programme have been achieved. In addition, the book focuses on the scales of measurement, various ways a teacher can use to estimate reliability of measurement instrument using test-retest, measure of equivalence and measure of internal consistency.
