Author has M.A. in Social Work, MPhil in Population Studies from IIPS, Mumbai and currently pursuing PhD from TISS, Mumbai. He is a Social Service Superintendent in Grant Medical College, Mumbai. His interest area includes socio-economic and health inequality. This book gives an insight in socio economic determinants of Education in India.
