The general objective of this research was to design an educational strategy on sexuality and gender aimed at students and professors of the Sociocultural Management for Development program implemented at the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas. A mixed methodology, qualitative with quantitative elements, was used. The empirical methods used were participant observation, document analysis, survey and semi-structured interviews. The level of preparation and knowledge of sexuality and gender issues was evaluated among professors and students of the course. The need for actions contained in the educational strategy that contribute to the general comprehensive training of students and professors in the topics of sexuality and gender was verified in the initial diagnosis and by the criteria of specialists. An educational strategy was elaborated for this career Sociocultural Management for Development, with a logical planning and several actions aimed at sensitizing and training students and professors on the topics of sexuality and gender.
