Autorenporträt
Hector Cabrera is a children's book author. He was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, Central America. In 1979, at six months old, he moved to Boston, Massachusetts. From an early age, he displayed an interest and talent in literature and poetry. Edward the Bear Who Wouldn't Cut His Hair is Hector's book debut. Having been influenced by the likes of William Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe and Dr. Seuss, he wrote it in poetic form. Growing up in Boston, Hector was highly inspired by the things around him, such as graffiti art and hip-hop. A fusion of these art forms is evident in his writing. Hector lives in Brookline, Massachusetts with his family.
