In this work plant morphological, anatomical, physiological and biochemical response of naturally growing roadside plants viz., Polyalthia longifolia, Ficus benjamina and Mangifera indica were investigated. Along with this, special stress was given on plant anatomical changes.

Mr.Rohit Kale has 7 yrs of research experience in plant ecology. He did MPhil with Prof.V.R.Gunale, at Dept.of Botany,UoP,Pune, India. Currently He is pursuing PhD in the same institution under the supervision of Prof.A.B.Ade. He is working on heavy metal Phytoremediation capacity of some weed plants,using various chelating agents.
