In order to find alternatives that allow coffee growers to produce quality seedlings, more vigorous and with a strong and well-formed root system, morphometric and quality variables were evaluated in coffee seedlings. Seeds of the Sarchimor-1669 cultivar were used, which once emerged at the seedling stage, were established in 6 x 9" polyethylene bags, where they were subjected to the respective treatments. Two study factors were evaluated, factor A (Biofertilizers) based on Trichoderma ssp, mycorrhizae and plant growth promoting bacteria, factor B (Biochar dosage) of 10, 20 and 30 g kg-1 of substrate and control treatments (Mixture of the three biofertilizers - biochar, mixture of the three biofertilizers + 20 g of biochar kg-1 of substrate, a chemical control with compound fertilizer and a control control). The best results were shown in the treatment of the mixture of the three biofertilizers with biochar, in the variables of: root mass length with 37.23 cm, root dry weight with 2.46 g, in terms of relative growth rate and net assimilation rate.
