The different levels of or boron or NaCl stress, when applied individually or in combination, significantly affects the plant growth and development by affecting various biochemical processes ultimately reducing the economic yield. The Boron and NaCl or their combinations, when applied to rabi sown wheat had significant residual toxic effects on growth, development, biochemical parameters, yield and yield attributes of green gram sown in subsequent kharif season. It is, therefore, suggested that in soil which are moderately saline or boron is present in higher amounts in soil or applied for maximizing wheat production during rabi, in the subsequent kharif season green gram cultivation may be avoided, as it may reduce its production and productivity.
