In the height of the present study results highlighted above showed that variety Hisar-2 proved better than Nasik-red from growth, yield, quality, uptake of nutrients and net income point of view. Subsequently, the larger bulb size proved beneficial in terms of superior growth, yield and quality and net profit as compared to smaller and medium bulb size. It is worth while that yield and net return was noted superior with medium spacing (30X20 cm). Thus, for growing remunerative onion seed crop variety Hisar-2 should be grown along with 5.0-6.0 cm bulb size which were planted at 30 X 20 cm under the agro-climatic conditions of Meerut region.…mehr

Munendra Singh has completed his graduation from Meerut University, Meerut (U.P.) in 1989. Thereafter he has completed his post graduation in 1991, M.Phil in Horticulture in 1992 from Meerut University, Meerut and Ph. D in Horticulture in 2005 from C.C.S. University, Meerut (U.P.) He has also got different 05 National & International awards.
