Anoestrus is a major problem in buffalo farming in Nepal. Longer postpartum period leads to higher incidents of infertility. This book analyses the effects of hormonal protocol GnRH and Prostaglandin to postpartum buffaloes of different body condition score, milk yield, parity, and ovarian status. The protocol is effective to resume ovarian activities as early days as in the postpartum period. This book works as a foundation work on reducing postpartum anoestrus in buffaloes and will benefit the animal breeders, veterinary theriogenologist, and veterinarians.
