The fact of research project was initiated with an attention to optimize a protocol for micropropagation and successful regeneration of dahlia plants from both invitro and invivo sources of important indigenous and exotic cultivars of dahlia to enhance production for the local market.Mrs. Tehseen Ashraf is engaged in teaching and research in Horticulture in the University College of Agriculture, University of Sargodha for the last 4 years. Her specialization was in plant tissue culture and growth regulators and contributed 2 research papers to various National Journals.

Tehseen Ashrafborn in 1980 D.G Khan,Pakisatan. She completed her B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture in 2003 from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. She completed her M.Sc. (Hons.) in Plant tissue Culture from the same institute in 2005. Presently, She is serving as lecturer at University College of Agriculture, University of Sargodha.
