World Health Organisation has reported that Non-Communicable Diseases has been on rise for a period of time. NCDs has affected the working age population hence reducing labour force participation rate, hindering achievements of economic and social targets. such threatening diseaases include; Malaria, TB, HIV/AIDs, Cancer among others. According to WHO 2002, NCDs contributed to about 32 percent of total mortality rates in Kenya. There has been introduction of Kenya Health Policy 2014-2030 aiming at ensuring that every citizen has acquired improved health care system. Curbing NCDs will help to promote both social and economic development.
