The present investigation entitled "Effect of nitrogen levels on growth and yield of mustard varieties under late sown condition" was carried out at Agronomy Research Farm of Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Faizabad (U.P.) during Rabi season of 2015-16. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design having fifteen treatment combination replicated three times. Seed & stover and oil & protein content increased significantly with increasing level of nitrogen up to 160 kg ha-1. However, seed yield, stover yield, protein content and oil yield remain at par with 120 kg N ha-1. Variety Narendra Rai 8501 possessed significantly increases in seed yield and stover yield over rest of varieties. Oil content was observed non-significantly between nitrogen levels and varieties, While, in respect to protein content, Narendra Rai 8501 significant higher yield over rest of the varieties.
