Present book is an effort to discuss the effect of different solvents (i.e. methanol, ethanol and isopropanol) on various properties of magnetic@dielectric core shell nanoparticles. For present study -Fe2O3@SiO2 Core-shell nanoparticles, have been synthesized using systematic deposition of silica shell prepared in various solvents on the core of iron oxide nanoparticles. The average crystalline size of iron oxide has been observed by XRD. The confirmation of silica coating over the surface of iron oxide nanoparticles has been demonstrated via FT-IR spectroscopy. SEM analysis has been done to see the morphological effects of solvents. The effect of solvent on magnetic properties of -Fe2O3@SiO2 nanoparticles has been studied by VSM measurements. The comparative dielectric properties of silica nanoparticles has also been observed over a wide frequency range (1 kHz-1 MHz) at room temperature using LCR meter for different solvents.
