This book presents investigation about effect of surface texturing on tribological properties of Polyamide (PA66) composite materials. The behavior of elliptical shape texture pattern is observed by varying dimple density with different orientations for comparative friction and wear analysis of a Polyamide (PA66) composite materials. The results show that the coefficient of friction varies considerably with surface texture pattern. Some texture pattern shows a higher load carrying capacity. Scanning Electron Micrographs interprets that wear of textured surface is less compared with the non- textured surface at both the lubricating conditions.
