The study is a comparison on the sports training using Swiss ball and weight training. The aim of finding better methods of training is accomplished by this study. The importance of the comparative study is found in developing an athlete and discovering his capabilities to the fullest. On a group of 45 students ( N = 45), three groups were formed with 15 ,embers in each group ( N = 15). The control group is chosen from St. Joseph's college of Physical education Moolamattom and the other two experimental group from Nirmala college Muvattupuzha. The age limits of the groups are 20 -22. Out of the two experimental groups, one group was trained using Swiss ball and other by Weight training. Studies show that Swiss ball training improve the strength of the person. The data needed for the study was collected according to certain variables and criteria. After the Study, there were differences found in the experimental groups, but no significant no differences 0.05 were observed. I wish the study would help not only in athlete forming but also in bringing up a generation that would have more concern about their health and fitness.
