Effective methods of teaching volumes is an attempt made to guide practicing teachers on the use of appropriate methods to be employed to teach the concept of volume. Because researches have shown that students' difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts are largely attributed to poor methodology. This book was born out of a research conducted to investigate the effectiveness of three instructional methods viz;laboratory, discovery and lecture methods, on junior secondary school students' performance in learning volumes. A sample of 360 junior secondary school students was used in the research. Teachers- of primary and secondary schools- and parents will find this book a good companion.
