Abdul-Gayoum M. A. Al-Haj es un profesor asociado nacido en el Sudán. Es licenciado en educación (Universidad de Jartum), tiene una maestría en lingüística aplicada (Universidad de Gezira) y un doctorado en lingüística aplicada (Universidad del Valle del Nilo). Sus intereses de investigación son escribir trabajos de investigación en Lingüística Aplicada y ELT. Fue galardonado con el Premio HQU.
