The idea of Knowledge Management was conceptualised by the then Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Femi Adesina in 2014 and sponsored by Bill and Melinda Gate Foundation through UNDP and Ark of Knowledge Capturing and Sharing sponsored by World Bank to train the staff of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in order to train other Agricultural Extension Workers and Farmers in the States.
