The aim of this work is to study the effects of communication on the motivation of civil servants in a number of public institutions in the town of Beni in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Our focus is on the Direction Générale de Douane et Assises (DGDA) and the Office Congolais de Contrôle (OCC) in Beni.
