Conventional roughage sources such as jowar stover, maize stover were compared with sweet sorghum bagasse an unconventional roughage procured as agro industrial by product. The roughages were incorporated (at 50% level) in complete rations and were fed as expander extruded pellets in growing ram lambs divided into three groups for 120 days after weaning.
