It is therefore recommended that parents with children in pre-schools and other stakeholders should ensure that teachers are in-serviced regularly in child safety-care so that they can retain techniques on accident prevention acquired during in-servicing. This book will be especially useful for parents with children in pre-school, teachers, school managers and school curriculum developers, to help them ensure maximum protection against accidents among pre-school children who are the main beneficiaries in the study.

Dr. Juliet Mugo is a lecturer at Kenyatta University and has practical as well as research experience in Early Childhood Growth, Development and Education. Prior to her appointment at Kenyatta University, she worked as a teacher in Public and Private Sectors. She is a consultant and writer on Early childhood Issues in Kenya and Tanzania.
