Business Organizations exist to achieve their corporate goals and objectives. They work to transform inputs from their environments into profitable outputs. This is referred to as the transformation system (T - System). This requires men, materials, machines, money and moment (time) to achieve the desired outputs. Therefore, men are employed to harness the resources together. Various activities then result in profits, costs, sales, and production output. Men are made to interact at various levels. This constitutes the social system (S - System). Here, the activities of the workforce, the Labor manifest. The existence of this S - System necessitates the need for the Administrative System (A - System), whose task of creating and maintaining an environment for performance is very vital. Here, the Management activities are reflected. The way and manner of the relationship between the Management and Labor has untold effect on the achievement of T - System, which yields the output. Therate of output per unit time is known as productivity. The total output divided by the amount of Labor used to produce it is called The Rate of Labor Productivity.
