About Book: The book is based on the research study with a objective to find out the effect, to find out the trend of the effect, to find out the linear trend of the effect and to find out the quadratic trend of the effect of four varieties of Bhastrika Pranayama on balance ability. Static Balance and Dynamic Balance Abilities were selected as dependent variables and four varieties of Bhastrika Pranayama were considered as independent variables. For the study variation of split plot design, which consisted four experimental groups (15 students in each group) and one control group (n=15) was used. Equal numbers of subjects were assigned randomly to the groups. Four groups (BP-V1, BP- V2, BP-V3 and BP-V4) served as experimental groups on which treatments were assigned and fifth group served as the control group. The experimental treatments were given for approx thirty to thirty five minutes daily of the four varieties of Bhastrika Pranayama respectively for six weeks under the proper supervision and guidance of the scholar while placebo was given to the control group. Analysis of Co-variance & trend analysis with multiple treatments was used. Results of the study are fructiferous.
