Experiment was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of some selected systemic fungicides and Solanum nigrum leaf extract to control Alternaria brassicae causing leaf spot of cabbage, there fungicides namely Redomil MZ 68WP @ 0.2, Bavistin -70WP@ 0.1% carboxin 35% @ and half dose of all above treatments combination with plant extract i.e. Solanom nigrum @ 20%) were tested. Fungicides treatment was given as seedling treatment and plant extract was applied at 30 DAT. The study revealed that application of fungicides with plant extract, significantly influenced all most all to the parameters seedling treatment with carbendazim (0.05%)+ foliar application of plant extract resulted better performance the lowest disease severity (29.2%) and increasing bud diameter 4.77, 8.862 & 14.99cm at 30, 45 and 60 DAT respectively, maximum yield was observed in metalaxyl (0.1%) + plant extract (20%) (47.33 tonnes/hec) followed carbendazim + plant extract (47.00 tonnes / hec), carbendazim (44.66) maximum disease control was observed in carbendazim followed by Carboxin + b lack night shade (32.50%), metalaxyl + black night shade (34.56%) and control showing (58.84%).
