Produktbeschreibung
Carpal Canal Syndrome is a peripheral neuropathy, the etiology of which is compression of the median nerve, located in the wrist region. This compression results in a set of symptoms, including pain, numbness, tingling, reduced grip strength, among others. This pathology of the hand, which can be unilateral or bilateral, significantly affects the quality of life of individuals, due to the associated limitations in carrying out activities of daily living. By promoting the circulation of energy and blood in the body, acupuncture helps restore the balance between energy and matter, providing relief from the symptoms mentioned above. This study, which is intended to be a research protocol presented in the form of a case study, reinforces the importance of using acupuncture to control certain symptoms, particularly pain. The results obtained seem to reinforce the premise that acupuncture can be an effective alternative for controlling the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome.
