Julia Tavares è laureata in Amministrazione Pubblica presso la Scuola di Governo della Fondazione João Pinheiro ed è un funzionario pubblico nella carriera di Specialista in Politiche Pubbliche e Gestione del Governo nel ramo esecutivo dello Stato di Minas Gerais.
