In 2005 I took a five-week writing class in which I had to write something. What came out of that class was the first chapter of this book. The class instructor encouraged me to finish the book. Finally, after eight years of writing, rewriting, putting it away for months at a time, and starting again, the book is finished. I hope it will inspire you to keep the faith, even in the dark days.
