DAVID VICENTE es autor de las novelas Un pequeño paso para el hombre, uno de los cinco mejores debuts literarios del año 2012 según El Cultural del diario El Mundo, Esto podría ser un gambito de dama, pero es una canción de amor (Almuzara), Isbrük, galardonada con el XLVIII Premio Internacional de Novela Corta Ciudad de Barbastro, La puta y la niña que soñaron Berlín y los libros de relatos El sonido de los sapos y La estadística de los detalles. Además de la obra de teatro infantil, La hormiga que quiso ser persona y los manuales: El arte de escribir y El arte de narrar, ambos en Berenice. Ha adaptado y dirigido la versión teatral de Isbrük (Premio a la mejor dramaturgia, escenografía y actriz principal en el Festival de Biescas y Premio a la mejor actriz principal en el Festival de Olvera) con su compañía Teatro de Hojalata. También ha publicado el poemario Lo que queda entre los restos. Se ha convertido en una referencia en el campo de la enseñanza de la escritura creativa y el arte de narrar.
