Don Juan Manuel is a medieval Spanish noble who was among the first writers of fiction in the Castilian language. Emilia Navarro Ramírez is an author of educational books and a translator who holds a degree in Spanish linguistics and literature from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Joan Mundet is an illustrator and painter whose work has appeared in the Las aventuras del capitán Alatriste series of novels, among others.
