Autorenporträt
Sofia Chanfreau was born in Helsinki in 1986, grew up on Å land and settled in Malmö in Sweden. She attended Fö rfattarskolan in Lund in 2010-2012, but then became focused on music and sound technology studies, at the Academy of Music in Malmö and at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. Nowadays, she works at a production company and writes both scripts and music on a daily basis, as well as sound-laying and mixing audio tours. However, her fiction writing is present all the time. Amanda is a tattoo artist and illustrator. She is educated in visual art, textile art and tattooing in Sweden. She was born in Helsinki, grew up on Å land and lives in Malmö . She was awarded the Finlandia prize in children's and youth literature 2022 for Giraffe's Heart is Unusually Large and Nominated for the Runeberg Junior Prize and the Nordic Council's Children's and Young People's Literature Prize 2023.
