Robert E. Picirilli terminó sus estudios en Welch College (B.A.) y Bob Jones University (M.A., Ph.D) y pasó su carrera como profesor, y en administración académica en Welch. Su especialidad fue el Nuevo Testamento en griego. Es autor o co-autor de libros publicados por Moody Press, Thomas Nelson y Randall House. Sus obras incluyen Discipleship (el Discipulado); Teacher, Leader, Shepherd (Maestro, Líder y Pastor); y Little Known Chapters in Free Will Baptist History (Capítulos poco conocidos de la historia Bautista Libre). También ha escrito artículos publicados en revistas teológicas y funge como Editor General de la serie Randall House Bible Commentaries (Comentarios Bíblicos de la Casa Randall de Publicaciones). He has authored or co-authored books published by Moody Press, Thomas Nelson, and Randall House. Such works include Grace, Faith, Free Will and Teacher, Leader, Shepherd. He has also written several articles published in theological journals and serves as the General Editor for the Randall House Bible Commentary Series. Dr. Picirilli also served as president of the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges and moderator of the National Association of Free Will Baptists.
