Reyes Martínez nació en Madrid en 1972. Desde hace años reside en Gijón y compagina su trabajo en un hospital como especialista en radiodiagnóstico con su afición a la escritura. Debutó en el mundo editorial con la literatura infantil y juvenil, aunque pronto dio el salto a la narrativa para adultos con el género negro.
