Autorenporträt

Irmhild Foessl wurde 1940 in Waldenburg Schlesien geboren.Nach der Umsiedlung lebte sie von 1947 bis 1965 in Deutschland.1964 lernte sie bei einem Wienbesuch ihren Ehemann kennen, den sie 1965 heiratete und von da an in Wien lebt. Mit ihm, einem Orchestermusiker, hat sie drei Kinder, fünf Enkel und inzwischen vier Urenkel, die sie zu den Gedichten und Zeichnungen des Buches Kinderland inspirierten.
