Paty Montesinos is a first-generation Mexican-American from Livingston, California. Paty draws strength and resilience from her parents' courageous journey as immigrants from Michoacà n, Mè xico. She is a storyteller, Product Manager, Data Scientist, and Latina in Tech, also serving as a mentor, Alumni advisor, wife, and mother. Currently residing in the Bay Area with her husband and son, Paty finds her greatest inspiration for writing children's books in her son and her commitment to diversity and inclusion. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, backpacking through National and State Parks with her STEM sisters, playing soccer, and dancing with her family. A Mexican illustrator from Guadalajara, Jalisco, lives her passion by creating projects with vibrant colors and lively characters. In her free time, she enjoys discovering new places, spending time with her friends, and playing with her kittens.
