It's also about a warrior trying to return to a home that no longer exists. Phil and Ruth become intensely real and alive throughout their journey, while you (the reader) turn into a piece of fiction, finding yourself in the same predicament as the protagonists by the end of the novel.

J. Martin Strangeweather isn't trying to convert you, but he is trying to transform the world. He is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Prognosticator of the Santa Ana Literary Association. His publications include Poems from the Polka-Dot Apocalypse (Four Feathers Press 2021), Electric Zen for Neon Koans (Weird Roach LLC 2022), Sophoetics: Philosophy Poems (Finishing Line Press 2023), and The Eidetic Afterlife Hypothesis: A Reinterpretation of Death and Dying (Santa Ana Literary Association 2024). He has travelled to Egypt, India, Tibet, and numerous other mystical locales in pursuit of firsthand experience while also earning degrees in philosophy, English, and art history.
