The monograph is devoted to the search for relationships between electrical conductivity anomalies in the crust and upper mantle and the centers of seismic events, which occurred in the platform regions of Ukraine. It is shown that regional anomalies of high electrical conductivity in conditions of ancient platforms are connected with manifestations and character of seismic activity. On the territory of the platform part of Ukraine identified regions in which the relationship with the anomalous conductive structures of the crust and the upper mantle: a) Donbass and eastern part of DVE; b) eastern margin of the Ingultsko-Krivoy Rog suture zone in the Krivoy Rog-Kremenchug fault zone; c) southwestern part of the Azov megablock; d) western boundary of the Ukrainian Shield and its slope. Earthquake origins are realized at depths above the upper edge and in the upper parts of the anomalies of high electrical conductivity of the Earth's crust. The reasons of reduced resistance within the Earth's crust, which contribute to the release of accumulated seismic energy, may include the presence of graphite and fluids of different origin.
