The book presents an efficient and application-orientated design method for complex electromechanical systems in microtechnology and mechatronics. It describes in detail the applied network theory and the electromechanical transducers without going too much into the details of the technological aspects. The authors extend the description methods to acoustic, fluid, magnetic and thermal subsystems, and they treat dynamic problems for complex technical systems consisting of different interacting subsystems.
Graduate students and engineers in industry in the field of electrical engineering, information technology, mechatronics and mechanical engineering are addressed.
