The central focus of this research is to identify the current applications of E-Commerce in Indian retailing sector, hurdles, shortcomings and design & implement remedial steps to achieve the effective operational success & growth and continuous improvements thereof. To meet the objective of the study the researcher developed a conceptual framework with various factors which influence the electronic retailing business India such as Organizational, Technological, E-Commerce Strategies, Consumer behavior factors. By considering the research findings and observations the researcher has provided several recommendations and suggestions to the consumers, retailers and government to enhance the e-tailing business in India.
