Pathophysiology is the science that studies the causes of pathological processes, their origins, development and consequences through animal experiments. It isPhysiopathology is the Experimental Medicine that deals with disease and health. It covers etiology, pathogenesis and the processes that reverse the disease to restore health. Sergey Petrovich Botkin (1832 -1889), one of the founders of modern Russian medicine, said, "The fundamental task of Pathophysiology for the student consists in learning to use his medical knowledge in front of the sick person." That is, to understand the mechanism and development of the disease and the processes that reverse it. Therefore, it is not only necessary to know the experiments that provided the knowledge we have about our science, but also to develop dialectical medical thinking in order to correctly deal with a large amount of observations and data.
