While the book shares some structural similarities with its predecessor, it lacks the same level of freshness and intrigue. Certain aspects of the plot were not entirely convincing, which detracted from the overall experience. Moreover, the partially unresolved ending left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. Although I really enjoyed the author's storytelling, "Eleven Liars" didn't fully live up to the promise of the first book. I'm not sure if I'll continue with the series.
