Passionate about character and values, Doug began writing this book ten years ago for his four boys as "Character for Kids." Five years later, Doug expanded the book adding the emotional side of life for coping with life's challenges. Today, "Elise" combines character development and Emotional Fitness through self-acceptance. Married twenty-three years, Doug and his wife Megan live in Virginia.
