The book shades light on why leaders of young nation decided to enrich themselves to the expense of the poor instead of building the countryto which they badly fought for to liberate from what is commonly known as Arab domination. The research discovered a number of factors that link corruption and nepotism to the cause of current civil wars in 2013 and 2016.The work also highlight the role of colonial powers in encouraging and building a corrupt network of elites for the purpose of maintaining power and accumulation of wealth and resources.
