Autorenporträt

Elli Stuart is eight years old. She loves dancing and animals and is the love of her father's life. She currently lives in Portland, Oregon. Elli would like to be a veterinarian who also gets to teach dance lessons, or the other way around. She is also a very talented artist. Ellia the Elephant: Outside the Herd is her first published work of fiction. Evan Stuart is her proud father, co-writer, and illustrator of this book. Originally dictated by Elli, Evan brought Ellia the Elephant to life through the help of Kickstarter. Through the process of creating Ellia the Elephant, Evan got his cartoonist's groove back. He is a filmmaker, video editor, and has recently become a substitute teacher, looking to both share Ellia and Sunrise with elementary schools and also create cartoons to bring creativity to the common core.
