Autorenporträt
Elliott Erwitt, 1928 in Paris geboren, kam Ende der dreißiger Jahre in die USA. In den vierziger und fünfziger Jahren machte er sich als führender Zeitschriftenfotograf einen Namen, und 1953 trat er der renommierten Agentur "Magnum" bei. Neben seiner Tätigkeit für Zeitschriften feierte er Erfolge als Werbefotograf und Filmemacher. Heute lebt Erwitt in New York City, hält sich aber gern auch in Paris auf.
