Steganography is a form of data hiding, it is a way for protecting information by embedding data into digital media for the purpose of identification, copyright and sending secret message. Steganography in audio becomes a challenging discipline, since the Human Auditory System (HAS) is highly sensitive. Steganography is a form of data hiding, it is a way for protecting information by embedding data into digital media for the purpose of identification, copyright and sending secret message. Steganography in audio becomes a challenging discipline, since the Human Auditory System (HAS) is highly sensitive. One of the main obstacles of the data hiding in audio is to develop a system which has the quality to include a big amount of data and without affecting the quality of sound. In this research, two approaches of a steganography were designed for hiding secret data in audio media file (MP3). The first suggested way is based on embedding encrypted text between frames (BF) in MP3 file, while the second way is based on embedding encrypted text before the first frame (BAF) in MP3 file. After having examined the two suggested approaches, it has been approved that the first way (BF) is better because it has the capacity to embed about 40 MB without affecting sound quality and take time 134.2 sec for embedding and 2618.2 sec for extracting, mean while the second way (BAF) has shown its capacity in embedding about 8 KB (As maximum) without affecting the sound quality.
